Congratulations on taking the Work-Life Balance Quiz — your result is Me First.

If you’re here, chances are you’ve been putting yourself last. Your time, your energy, your desires… they come after everyone else. And over time, that creates an energy drain that leaves you feeling depleted and less effective in every area of your life.

I’ve been there — and I’ve got you.

In this training, you’ll learn three simple ways to reclaim your energy and reset your days, so you can take care of yourself while still showing up powerfully for your work, your family, and the people you care about.

Because the truth is:

The greatest gift you can give others is your full, energized self.

1. The Mindset Shift: Me First

We’re so used to giving everything away — trying to be a good colleague, a good boss, a good parent — constantly asking, “Am I doing enough?”

But when you really think about it, doesn’t it make sense that you need to be at 100% in order to show up well in all of those roles?

From now on, the shift is simple: Me first.

Not in a selfish way — in a sustainable way.

When you take care of yourself first, you bring your full energy, clarity, and presence into everything else you do.

2. Create Strong “Bookends” for Your Day

One of the most powerful tools I’ve learned is something I call bookends — the way you start and end your day.

When your mornings and evenings are grounded and intentional, everything in between becomes more manageable.

This lesson came from a very full season of my life — a three-hour daily commute, raising a toddler, leading a team, writing a book. Life was busy. But when I started and ended my day with even a small amount of time for myself, everything felt more doable.

3. Your Morning Routine (Before the World Gets You)

Your morning routine doesn’t have to be long — it just has to be yours.

  • Drink water

  • Move your body for 10 minutes

  • Take a short walk

  • Write a few gratitudes

The key is this: do it before you check your phone.

If you start your day with your phone, you start your day in everyone else’s world — their needs, their stress, their urgency.

Instead, start with yourself.

Even 10–15 minutes can completely shift your energy.

4. Your Evening Routine (Prepare for Rest)

Just like a child has a bedtime routine, you need one too.

Ayurveda teaches us to gently wind down before sleep — not crash into it.

  • Turn off screens 60 minutes before bed

  • Read something calming

  • Take a bath

  • Massage your feet with oil

  • Have a quiet conversation

This doesn’t have to be long — just intentional.

It’s your time to come back to yourself and prepare for deep, restorative rest.

Bringing It All Together

To begin putting yourself first:

  • Shift your mindset → Me First

  • Create a simple morning routine (before your phone)

  • Build a gentle evening routine to close your day

When you do this consistently, everything changes.

You feel more like yourself. You show up better. You have more energy to give — without feeling drained.
